What BlitzGremlin does

BlitzGremlin is a fantasy football assistant for people who did not grow up doing this. Every week it reads your league and whispers what to do — who to start, who to pick up, who to trade with — with a plain-English reason for each call. It never touches your team: BlitzGremlin is read-only, and you make every move yourself on your platform (Sleeper, Yahoo, ESPN…). On draft night it drafts with you live, and you can practice in a simulated season first.

Your week with the gremlin

Tuesday and Wednesday — the waiver wire. Last week’s games are over and unowned players can be claimed. Open your league: each WAIVER call names who to add and who to drop and says what the move is worth over the season, not just this week. A pickup only appears when it is a real upgrade — no churn for a fraction of a point.
Thursday, then Sunday morning — the lineup. A player locks the moment his real game kicks off, so the START/SIT calls are listed earliest kickoff first, each marked with the day it plays. Your lineup grid shows every player’s projection, game day, injury tag (Q, D, OUT) and BYE flag — a red row is a starter who scores nothing as things stand.
Any day — trades. TRADE calls point at league-mates whose starters share a bye week you can cover from your depth. Every call has a “Why?” with the numbers behind it.
After every move: make it on your platform, then tap Done. Not interested? Mute. Answers stick until the NFL week rolls over, and the dashboard shows how many calls each league still has waiting.

Which team is yours

The first time you open a league, pick your team. It is remembered on the league, so every device sees the same seat. Picked wrong? On the This-week tab, use “not your team?” next to the team name.

Getting started

Sign in and you land on Get started (it is also behind “+ Add a league” on the Dashboard). Pick where you play. On Sleeper, paste the league link, pick your team, done: rosters, lineups and the schedule read live. On Yahoo, paste your league’s address (or your team’s) and the setup guide opens the exact Yahoo page to copy from at every step, in a new tab. Anywhere else, the same guide names each page in general words.

Leagues without a live feed (Yahoo and others)

The step-by-step setup guide tells you which page to open, when to select all and copy, and what to paste where, and every failed paste says what went wrong and how to fix it. Four pastes are required: the settings page, the League page at Week 1 (which teaches the gremlin every team’s name and waiver budget), the schedule, and your own team page. For the schedule, your own Schedule view is enough for the weekly calls; pasting every week’s full matchups from the League page gives the gremlin the whole board, which the Deep Read reasons from. The Matchups tab shows only your own game, so use the League tab for team names.

Sleeper leagues are read live. Every other platform is read from the rosters you paste: open your team page, select everything (Ctrl/Cmd-A), copy, and paste it into the Rosters tab. The lineup slots on that page tell the gremlin who is starting.
Paste your own team first — that alone unlocks the weekly read. Paste league-mates’ rosters too and the waiver and trade calls stop guessing who is already owned.
After a waiver claim, a trade or a lineup change, paste your team again. The save shows exactly what changed hands, and the next read starts from the roster as it stands. A read built on rosters more than four days old is flagged amber.

Schedule and matchups

Paste your league’s schedule page once (League Settings / Schedule tab) and the gremlin names your opponent each week, projects both lineups, and never pitches a trade to the team you are about to play. Sleeper leagues get this automatically.

Waiver budgets (FAAB) and bids

In a league that bids for waivers, every WAIVER call comes with a dollar figure and a range. The bid is priced from what the player is worth to you over the season, who else would start him this week, how much those teams have left, and how they have bid before — with the arithmetic in “Why?”. Sleeper leagues read budgets and the transaction log live. On other platforms the roster paste picks up the “Waiver Budget” line from each team page, and the Claims & Trades tab has a box for the league’s Transactions page; paste it whole and every team’s bidding and trading habits are read off it, and every new move is applied to the rosters it names in the order it happened, so pasting the log after waivers run keeps the rosters current. Set the season budget once under League settings if the gremlin has not seen it.

Claims and trades you already filed

On Yahoo and other pasted leagues, paste your Pending Transactions page into the box on the Claims & Trades tab (on Yahoo, My Team shows a Pending Transactions box at the top whenever you have claims waiting or a trade on the table). A waiver call you already claimed shows as filed, with your bid next to the gremlin’s; a claim it would not have made gets an honest review; a drop you pledged is never handed to another call; and every trade waiting for an answer gets a verdict — accept, decline, or close call — with the season and this-week numbers behind it. Paste again whenever you change your claims.

The Deep Read

A Deep Read is a separate one-time purchase: one long, written analysis of your roster against the whole league — this week’s matchup, the schedule ahead, the waiver wire, every rival’s shape, the latest news on your players — from the gremlin’s patron, at the Gremlin Factor you choose. It takes a few minutes and emails you a link when it lands. Every read you buy is kept: find them on the league’s Deep Reads tab and on the Dashboard, each with a page of its own you can bookmark. The crystal-ball section is labelled speculation. If a read fails on our side, the credit comes back by itself.

The Gremlin Factor

The dial in the top bar sets how bold the calls are, from 1 (Scout: safe floors) to 5 (Full Gremlin: chase the ceiling). It changes what the maths rewards, never the rigour — every call is still argued from current data, and no setting will start a player who has been ruled out.

Draft night

Sleeper leagues: start a live draft from the league’s Draft tab and BlitzGremlin follows the real picks automatically. If sync pauses, it retries on its own — the top bar shows sync status.
Any other platform: use manual mode — tap in each pick as it happens and get the same recommendations.
Lost the tab? Your draft is safe. Open the Dashboard and use the “resume draft” card to jump back in.
Every recommendation has a “why?” and every stat a plain-English tooltip — click any underlined term.

Season pass & billing

One purchase covers the whole 2026 season — draft suite, simulated season, and the weekly manager. No subscription, no auto-renew.
Paid but the pass isn’t showing? It activates within a minute of checkout. If it hasn’t, email [email protected] with the email you paid with — we’ll sort it same-day.
Refunds: within 7 days of purchase, from Settings, with one question asked (what didn’t work). The money goes straight back to PayPal. Deep Reads are not refundable, since each one costs money to produce. Details in the Terms of Service.

Signing in

No passwords — we email you a sign-in link. It lasts 15 minutes; the button in the email signs you in.
No email after a couple of minutes? Check spam, then request a fresh link. Still nothing? Email [email protected] from any address and tell us the one you’re trying to sign in with.
